The program began on 15th October 2024 with the Dean addressing the packed Lecture Hall-1 with these 50 students. Dean Dr. Sandhya Khadse gave a brief overview of the institute's historical growth. Dean Dr. Sandhya Khadse introduced Heads of the Phase 1 departments, Phase 1 faculty members, MEU faculty members and various committees like Anti-ragging, Grievance, Hostel, Mess, Administration, Cultural & student council etc to the students, who were actively participating, conducting and executing entire orientation and foundation session. Dean madam briefed all the students about code of conduct regarding academics, Overall behaviour, sense of discipline, maintaining ethics and professionalism etc. She focused on aspects of positive learnings that is social and psychological wellbeing of students. She also assured for safe and opportunistic environment for students. She has also enlightened students about her personal and professional experiences and made them understand being good doctor above that great human being. The "Open House" question-and-answer session that followed answered all of the students queries.
