Session location: Ajivali. (17 kms from MGM Medical College, Nerul.)

Time: 9am to 2pm

• A Visit to Rural Health and Training centre, Ajivali was conducte for the first MBBS 2024-2025.

• This visit oriented students about the Primary Health care delivery system in India. This gave students the opportunity to learn about the facilities and structure of Primary Health centre.

• It also enabled the students to observe the functioning and services provided of Primary Health centre and to understand role of various health care providers.

• The students also observed maintenance of “Cold chain system” (National Immunisation Programme). They observed the records of various National health care programs also.

Students will able understand-

• About the Health care delivery system in India at Primary level.

• The functioning and services provided through of Primary Health centre.

• The staff and their role in service provision.

• Implementation of various National Health Programmes.
