Conducted on 16th October 2024, it was the first of its kind to be organized for newly admitted students in MGM Medical College Nerul. It started with an overview of the history and intent of the white coat ceremony was given. The importance of the white coat to a medical student's life and its enduring connection to the field were discussed. The path from entering as a fresher to becoming a medical practitioner was then chronicled in a motivational speech.

Following all faculty member's explanation of the idea and goal of the White Coat Ceremony, each student was called up on stage individually, and the white coat—a representation of the respectable profession's duty and purity—was placed on their shoulder. The honor was performed by the Dean and other HODs of the department. Dean Dr. Sandhya Khadse gave a vow to all newly accepted students once they had all acquired their white coats.
